Torn Barr, 7, of Red Bays plays with his brothers in the building where the family stores their baskets on Saturday, May 3, 2008, on Andros Island in the Bahamas. Barr lives in a little section of town called Marshall Town. It is named after their 90-year-old matriarch Omelia Marshall who is a descendant of the original Black Seminole settlers. The families in that area have no electricity or running water.

Ralph Hauser, 81, is preparing to close his auto repair shop on Monroe Street in downtown Fort Myers. The family business was founded by his father in 1925.
Florida Everblades forward Brandon Coalter plans to retire after this hockey season to be a fire fighter. Coalter graduated from the Fort Myers Fire Academy this summer.
