Marin Lampe came into the world under water at 5:48 a.m. on July 21. "It was the most gentle way for her to come into the world," her mother Jana Lampe said. Many worry about the baby's safety under the water, but they have a dive reflex, and they don't breathe until their face hits air. They receive oxygen through the umbilical cord just like in the womb.
